NOCOCHILL OILS 32 & 68
 

NOCOCHILL Oils are premium quality oils expressly designed for use as refrigeration compressor lubricants.  They are fully compatible with CFC refrigerant gases, are highly stable, thus assuring long trouble free life and are essentially wax free.  They have long histories of satisfactory service in many types of equipment and are approved by most manufacturers for both factory fill and maintenance fill of their equipment.  The oils are readily available in two viscosity grades to satisfy every requirement. (Not for R134A refrigerants.)

APPLICATIONS

NOCOCHILL OILS can be used in virtually any installation regardless of compressor evaporator temperatures.  They are ideally suited for low temperature systems where evaporator temperatures are below –18ºC, including residential and commercial refrigeration and air-conditioning systems.

IMPORTANT CHARACTERISTICS

NOCOCHILL OILS are premium quality oils in every sense.  They are refined from specially selected naphthenic base crude oils by specific methods designed to yield stable, wax-free lubricants.  They will mix well, but not react with all commonly used refrigerant gases.  They do not separate wax with resulting system plugging at normal low operating temperatures.  Similarly, they are stable at the elevated temperatures encountered in the compressor itself.

SELECTION GUIDE

As shown in the table of typical properties.  NOCOCHILL OILS are available in two viscosity grades.  Selection of the correct grade should be made in accordance with the manufacturer’s instructions.
