Product Data Sheet

NOCOCOOL BLUE

NOCOCOOL BLUE is a true synthetic coolant formulated primarily for grinding operations on both ferrous and non-ferrous metals.  Its pale blue transparent color ensures excellent work piece visibility. It has excellent detergency to keep wheels open and free-cutting. This property, combined with an effective level of lubricity for cushioning the wheel, provides longer wheel life, better finishes and reduced burn formations. Controlled-foam characteristics reduce dropout of fines on machine surfaces.

NOCOCOOL BLUE is formulated with corrosion inhibiting properties and is resistant to microbial induced spoilage as well as an effective biocide to extend the coolant life.

APPLICATION

NOCOCOOL BLUE is recommended for use at a 3% concentration when used on cylindrical, centerless, and surface grinders.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Indoor storage is best.  If drums must be stored outdoors, store them on their side with the large bung up.  In cold weather, inventory should be brought indoors as needed and kept at least eight hours at room temperature before use.  Extreme care should be exercised to prevent water from entering the drums.  Bulk storage temperatures should not exceed 40°C.
