> About NOCO

NOCO Energy Corp., located in Tonawanda, New York, is a family-owned and operated energy company.

NOCO was founded in 1933 by Reginald B. Newman and was incorporated as R.B. Newman Fuel Company on January 12, 1948. Reginald’s two sons, Donald F. Newman and Reginald B. Newman II joined the company in 1954 and 1960, respectively.

Don and Reg oversaw the acquisition of a 42 million gallon terminal facility, broadened NOCO’s product lines, and firmly established NOCO’s tradition of strategic, customer-focused growth.

Today, Don Newman, Chairman Emeritus, and Reginald B. Newman II, Chairman, remain integral members of the decision-making team at NOCO Energy. The transition of leadership continues with the third generation of Newmans.  In October 2001, Jim Newman and Mike Newman were named President and Executive Vice President, respectively, in October 2001.  Jim and Mike continue their family's important mission as NOCO delivers the promise of energy to communities throughout Western New York, Canada, and New England.
