Q:  How can NOCO Natural Gas save my business money?
A:  There are two ways in which NOCO saves clients money on their natural gas:  First, NOCO Natural Gas customers are exempt from the sales tax on the delivery portion of their bill and save the Gross Receipts Tax on the commodity portion of their bill.  Second, NOCO is not a regulated utility with a mandated natural gas purchase formula and a guaranteed profit margin.  Accordingly we are free to buy natural gas smarter than the utility and we operate on a substantially lower margin than the utility.  Switch and Save!

Q:  What is an ESCO?
A:  An ESCO is an Energy Service Company – a company (other than your utility) that is approved to purchase and sell natural gas for your business.

Q:  What is the New York State PSC?
A:  The New York State Public Service Commission (PSC) is charged with monitoring the deregulated energy markets like natural gas and electricity.

Q:  How is NOCO involved with Natural Gas?
A:  NOCO supplies natural gas to residential and commercial customers in the National Fuel Gas territories
of Western New York.

Q:  How will National Fuel Gas know I’ve enrolled with NOCO?
A:  We take care of all the details and notify National Fuel Gas of your enrollment.  Switching is easy and it’s FREE!

Q:  How much can I save by switching to NOCO Energy Corp.?
A:  Every business is a little different.  Your savings are influenced by the time of year, the pattern of your usage, and the energy markets – though everyone is guaranteed to save the sales tax on the delivery portion of their bill, and the gross receipt tax on the commodity portion of their bill.

Q:  How am I billed?
A:  National Fuel Gas will continue to bill you each month.  The bill will identify NOCO as your natural gas supply company.  You still only make one payment each month.  One bill – One payment!.

Q:  What if I have a problem with my natural gas service?
A:  National Fuel Gas owns and maintains the gas lines and is responsible for emergency service. In case of emergency or if you smell gas, you can reach National Fuel Gas at:  800-444-3130.

Q:  How do I enroll?
A:  Switching is easy.  Please fill out the information request form and a NOCO Natural Gas Specialist will contact you soon.

Q:  Will there be interruptions in my service?
A:  The transition is seamless.  We handle all the details of contacting National Fuel Gas and start providing your natural gas at the beginning of the next eligible billing cycle.

Q:  Will I still be a customer of National Fuel?
A:  Yes.  National Fuel Gas is still responsible for the delivery of your natural gas, maintenance of the pipes in the ground, and reading your meter.

Q:  Is there a fee to switch to NOCO or is a security deposit required?
A:  No.  Switching to NOCO is FREE!

Q:  What am I actually paying NOCO for?
A:  NOCO only charges for the natural gas you use.

Q:  Why should I switch to NOCO?
A:  Switch and SAVE!  When you switch to NOCO you are guaranteed to save the sales tax on the delivery portion of your bill and gross receipts tax on the commodity portion of your bill.  Plus you have the peace of mind knowing you are with Western New York’s most trusted energy provider.

Q:  How long does it take for NOCO to begin providing my fuel after my enrollment is approved?
A:  National Fuel Gas will notify you of your official start day by mail.  The start day is the first scheduled meter read that is at least 15 days AFTER your application date.  Remember, you will receive your first bill approximately 30 days after your meter is read.

Q:  Are you a qualified supplier and approved by National Fuel and the Public Service Commission
A:  Yes!

Q:  How much experience does your company have in supplying natural gas to business customers?
A:  We started supplying energy to commercial and residential customers in 1933 and we started supplying natural gas to businesses in 2002.

Q:  What pricing options are there?
A:  We have two pricing options:  Market Price and Fixed Price.  Please fill out the information request form and a NOCO Natural Gas Specialist will contact you soon.

Q:  Does the price you’ve quoted include all fees and taxes? Do you assess a late payment charge?
A:  NOCO’s price is just for the natural gas.  National Fuel Gas adds applicable fees and taxes and will assess a late charge if your account is past 30 days.
