NOCO HD Railroad Engine Oil is a zinc-free diesel engine oil formulated with high quality base oils and a performance proven additive package that renders unsurpassed engine cleanliness and oil filter life. It is formulated to meet the performance requirements of modern, medium-speed diesel engines in a wide range of railroad, inland marine and stationary engine applications where silver faced turbocharger bearings and wrist pins may be encountered and the use of a 17 TBN zinc-free oil is recommended. This high initial TBN maintains an excellent equilibrated long-term alkalinity to effectively meet the stringent requirements prescribed by higher horsepower, extended drain intervals, reduced oil consumption, and the effects of high sulfur fuels.
NOCO HD Railroad Oil is non-chlorinated to be favorable to be used in areas where the disposal of oils containing chlorine is trying.
