Product Data Sheet
NOCOSOL is a general purpose emulsifying oil that covers a large part
of the metalworking spectrum. It is a very versatile and economical product
possessing great durability. It is used for cutting and grinding steels, cast
iron and nodular irons.
The mixing of an oil-in-water emulsion is extremely important to ensure the best performance. If possible, mix emulsions in a clean tank, not in the sumps of machines. To get the best emulsion of NOCOSOL, follow these steps:
- contains a mixture of anionic emulsifiers
- average particle diameter of four micron
- buffer systems resist acidification
- easy to mix
- provides excellent cooling
- excellent shelf life
- resistant to bacterial spoilage and rusting
- worker acceptance
- can use fine filters
- low cost
STORAGE AND HANDLING
Indoor storage is best. If drums must be stored outdoors, store them on their side with the large bung up. In cold weather, inventory should be brought indoors as needed and kept at least eight hours at room temperature before use. Extreme care should be exercised to prevent water from entering drums. Bulk storage temperatures should not exceed 40°C.
