NOCOSOL

NOCOSOL is a general purpose emulsifying oil that covers a large part of the metalworking spectrum.  It is a very versatile and economical product possessing great durability.  It is used for cutting and grinding steels, cast iron and nodular irons.
 
 

APPLICATION

The mixing of an oil-in-water emulsion is extremely important to ensure the best performance.  If possible, mix emulsions in a clean tank, not in the sumps of machines.  To get the best emulsion of NOCOSOL, follow these steps:

Note the additional uses of the NOCOSOL product at the following emulsion strengths: Proper filtration of coolants is almost a must today, particularly on grinding systems where solid matter is small, and in machining of cast iron which forms fine debris.  In addition, we know that in central systems equipped with filters, centrifuges and a good source of clean water with low mineral content, emulsions have given continuous service for at least a year with simple control of pH and emulsion strength.

STORAGE AND HANDLING

Indoor storage is best.  If drums must be stored outdoors, store them on their side with the large bung up.  In cold weather, inventory should be brought indoors as needed and kept at least eight hours at room temperature before use.  Extreme care should be exercised to prevent water from entering drums.  Bulk storage temperatures should not exceed 40°C.
